Statement
The landscapes in Zhu Hao's photos are all shot from the city spaces which people are familiar with their daily life. All these objects and detailed things in the city are often neglected by people. But, Zhu Hao has transformed these mundane ordinary objects into a world full of stories. he named these series "Silent Shanghai" as compare to Shanghai in the day time. These photographs were taken while we were sleeping. Zhu Hao is being subtle here in choosing the backgrounds as the important subject matter in the photographs. Underlying the contradiction that what the eyes presently see which in the future will ceased to exist. It marks the tension of China's sociocultural transformation. Zhu Hao's works has been exhibited in China and abroad.
